Haridwar, Auli and Har Ki Pauri Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Meals: Dinner
Arrive at the Delhi Railway Station/Airport and from where our representative will help you get transferred to Haridwar. Upon reaching Haridwar, check-in to the hotel and take some rest. You can then visit the Vaishno Devi Temple, Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple and listen to the mythology associated with them. Visit Mansa Devi Temple that is located on a hilltop and offers panoramic view of Haridwar City. Later in the evening, soak in the spiritual aura while witnessing the famous Ganga Aarti. After taking a holy dip in Har ki Pauri, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Haridwar.

About Haridwar
Located on the banks of the holy Ganga River, Haridwar is regarded as one of the sacred cities for the followers of Hinduism. This ancient city is home to many revered Hindu shrines, such as Maya Devi Temple, Mansa Devi Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir and Chandi Devi Temple. However, the most important place of interest here is Har Ki Paurighat. Literally meaning ‘Steps of the Lord’, Har Ki Pauri is also famous for being the site of KumbhMela (held every 12 years) and ArdhKumbh (held every six years). Every day after sunset, this site comes alive with the chanting of priests during the famous Ganga Aarti. Hordes of devotees come to this city just to witness this grand affair and pray to Goddess Ganga.
Upon reaching the hotel in Haridwar, check-in and rest in your room. In the evening, proceed towards Har Ki Paurighat (on your own) to enjoy the aarti.

Get ready to embark on your journey towards Joshimath.On your way to Joshimath, take a short stopover at Devprayag to witness the Holy Sangam where Bhagirathi and Alaknanda River come together to form Ganga. Pass through Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag to ultimately reach Joshimath. Upon reaching, check-in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in auli.
Wake up to a beautiful morning and have a delicious breakfast and complete the check–out formalities. On reaching Auli, you can spend time walking along the beautiful Auli Lake and feel the refreshing breeze or indulge in various adventurous activities like skiing, sledging, etc.
While in Auli, you can also choose to take a short trek up to the Gorson Bugyal that lies at an altitude of 3056 mts or further till Chattarkund, located in the center of a dense forest, which is famous for its sweet water.
In the evening, return to aulifor an overnight stay in a hotel and enjoy the night. Sightseeing for the day:
